This morning, at Arabella Golf Mallorca – Son Muntaner, the official presentation of the Mallorca Ladies Golf Open took place, the penultimate event of the Ladies European Tour scheduled for November 16th to 18th. Elite players are competing for a prize of €400,000 and a spot in the Race to Costa del Sol.

This tournament marks a milestone as the first time an event of this magnitude for women is held in Mallorca, promoting both the sport and the island. With 32 events in 20 countries and 4 continents, the Ladies European Tour is the premier women’s circuit in Europe.

The tournament will be held on the challenging 54-hole Arabella Golf Son Muntaner course.

The press conference was hosted by Pilar Carbonell, General Manager of e|motion sports in Spain, and featured Edwin Weindorfer, CEO of e|motion, Francisco Vila, CEO of Arabella Hoteles e Inversiones de España S.A. (AHEISA), and Bernardino Jaume Mulet, President of the Balearic Golf Federation. Representatives from the Ajuntament de Palma and the AETIB were also in attendance.

Francisco Vila, director of Arabella Hoteles e Inversiones SA, expressed excitement about hosting the Mallorca Ladies Golf Open at Son Muntaner, highlighting its significance for destigmatizing tourism in Mallorca.
