Sa Xerxa de teatre infantil i juvenil de les Illes Balears is a non-profit organization that, since 2003, has the objective of structuring and promoting the theatrical offer for children and young people in the Balearic Islands.
Sa Xerxa’s flagship project is the Balearic Islands Children’s and Youth Theater Fair (FIET) . Since 2002, the FIET has been held in Vilafranca de Bonany and brings together thousands of people and dozens of companies and theater management professionals, thus turning Vilafranca into a showcase of theater for children and young people made in the Illes and beyond. our borders.
This year the pandemic has already condemned the weakened performing arts sector, which is why the courage of this association to carry out this fair, due to the many restrictions that they have to apply is admirable.
In this edition I have been in charge of covering it and whoever has ever been to the theater will have experienced the magic that surrounds these performances and the atmosphere that creates and envelops the audience. Transferring that living energy to images is challenging and rewarding at the same time.

Do not stop going to the theater or taking the little ones to enjoy these shows, remember that it is part of our cultural wealth and it must be preserved. The sector is focused on applying all the necessary security measures so that you can enjoy with complete peace of mind and that this situation that we have to live is not an impediment.
Health and Theater!
