As a photographer, I have always believed in the power of images to convey emotions and create connections. For this reason, when I had the opportunity to collaborate with the emergency service of the Hospital de Manacor<\/a>, I did not hesitate to participate with some of my photographs to decorate the walls of the rooms where the patients are in the process of recovery.<\/p>\n\n

The official presentation took place today with the hospital manager, the medical director and the heads of the emergency department of the Hospital de Manacor. It was an exciting moment to see how the images I took so lovingly were received with enthusiasm and appreciation by the team of professionals who dedicate their lives to caring for others. Your recognition and gratitude are the best reward I could receive.<\/p>\n\n

This initiative comes from the humanisation commission<\/strong> of the Hospital de Manacor, which seeks to improve those details that often go unnoticed in the system. <\/h5>\n\n

Spending several hours staring at a white wall can convey a sense of coldness and detachment. It is therefore crucial that hospital environments provide a welcoming and calm atmosphere, which contributes to the emotional well-being of patients.<\/p>\n\n

A sample of images was requested to meet specific requirements. They had to be captured in the region of Manacor, transmit calm and warmth<\/strong>, and be of a high quality to be printed in large format. With these premises, I created a gallery with various proposals, each of which reflected the essence of this beautiful region.<\/p>\n\n

Sebasti\u00e0 A. Bota<\/strong> was the other selected photographer who contributed a variety of magnificent images that followed the same theme.<\/p>\n\n

In short, this experience has reinforced my conviction that photography is not only a means of artistic expression, but also a tool that offers the possibility of having a positive impact on people’s lives. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this project and hope that my images can provide that window of escape in those moments of vulnerability and need.<\/p>\n\n
