The figures speak to us of the magnitude of this regatta: we have over 100 teams from around twenty countries with almost 1,800 sailors, as well as 200 people working on the event both at sea and at the club itself&#8221;.<\/em><br\/> <br\/>For his part, Emerico Fuster, president of the club, said in his speech that <em>&#8220;In its beginnings, PalmaVela contributed to the return of large yachts to our bay, which were later joined by the leading monotype and cruiser fleets, and today we can say that this is a regatta that is fully established in the Mediterranean regatta calendar. The organisation of international regattas is one of the functions that our club assumes as part of its work promoting the sport and its commitment to this land&#8221;.<\/em><br\/> <br\/><em>&#8220;This year we are 75 years old. We are a heritage of this community, a strategic operator of this port and an indispensable actor in delivering social dividends through sport.
